General terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions (AGB) apply to all purchases from:

They apply both to purchases in the physical shop and to orders placed in the online shop at encantolatino.de (distance contracts under § 312c of the German Civil Code, BGB).

The presentation of our products in the online shop is not a binding offer but a non-binding catalogue.

By clicking “Order now” you place a binding order. The purchase contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or ship the goods. We reserve the right to decline orders without giving reasons.

The purchase contract is concluded when the goods are handed over at the till and the price is paid. Prices displayed in the shop are binding offers.

All prices are final prices including statutory VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately in the online shop and displayed before you complete your order.

In the shop: cash and EC card.

Online shop: payment by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via SumUp (SumUp More Limited, Block 8, Harcourt Centre, Dublin 2, Ireland). Your payment details never reach our systems.

We deliver only to addresses within Germany, by DHL. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the parcel (products plus packaging): up to 2 kg €7.00, up to 5 kg €8.50, up to 10 kg €11.50 and up to 20 kg €19.90. Orders over 20 kg cannot be placed in the online shop. For orders of €70.00 or more the €7.00 base rate is waived, but the weight surcharge (€1.50, €4.50 or €12.90) still applies. Shipping costs are shown before you complete your order.

We aim to ship your order within 1 to 3 working days after receiving payment. After shipping, delivery usually takes 1 to 2 working days. Once shipped, you receive an email with the DHL tracking code.

Delivery to Packstations or PO boxes is not possible.

Collection in store: where we offer this option, you can pay for your order online and collect it yourself at our shop (Maxstraße 16, 53111 Bonn). No shipping costs apply and a separate minimum order value applies, shown to you before you complete your order. We notify you by email as soon as the goods are ready for collection. In that case nothing is shipped.

As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen days for distance contracts. Excluded under § 312g para. 2 no. 2 BGB are goods that spoil quickly or whose expiry date would soon be exceeded, and under § 312g para. 2 no. 3 BGB sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once their seal has been removed after delivery.

For all other items in our range, in particular long-life products in their original packaging, the right of withdrawal applies without restriction.

The statutory warranty rights under §§ 437 ff. BGB apply. For perishable goods the warranty takes the best-before dates into account. Please check the goods as soon as you receive them.

If anything arrives damaged in transit, please contact us with photos within 48 hours of receipt.

Alcoholic drinks are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. Alcoholic drinks ordered in the online shop are not shipped: if an order contains alcohol, it can only be collected in the shop (Maxstraße 16, 53111 Bonn). They are handed over only on presentation of an official photo ID (identity card, passport or residence permit) showing that the person collecting is at least 18. Without it we do not hand over the alcoholic drinks and refund the price paid for them. Tobacco products are not sold in the online shop.

There is no statutory right of return in the physical shop. As a courtesy we take back unopened, flawless goods within 14 days with the receipt. Perishable food cannot be exchanged once it has left the shop.

We are liable without limit for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
